Professional Experience

Joanne L. Rosen is a trial lawyer with more than 30 years of experience in toxic tort, product liability, pharmaceutical, and complex personal-injury litigation. She now uses her decades of defense-side insight to advocate for plaintiffs in catastrophic-injury, exposure, and product-defect cases — bringing an insider’s understanding of corporate strategy, expert development, and causation challenges.

Ms. Rosen’s background includes representing manufacturers, distributors, premises owners, and contractors in multimillion-dollar asbestos, silica, chemical-exposure, and medical-device cases, while also handling select plaintiff matters involving serious injury, toxic exposure, and medical negligence. She draws on her dual experience to anticipate arguments from either side, strengthen liability and causation proof, and maximize case value for her clients.

Coming from a family of physicians, Ms. Rosen has long focused on medically complex litigation and is known for her fluency in medical records, toxicology, occupational-exposure analysis, and expert preparation. She handles all phases of litigation, including dispositive motions, expert and percipient depositions, mediation, trial preparation, trial, and appeals.

Ms. Rosen maintains an active defense practice in toxic tort and product liability litigation while also representing plaintiffs in select high-severity injury and exposure cases. Her dual experience — built over more than 30 years — allows her to bring a uniquely informed perspective to both sides of complex scientific and medical disputes.
